BHQplus™ Probes
The BHQplus™ probe is a novel, compact probe for qPCR with a duplex stabilizing technology terminated with Biosearch’s Black Hole Quencher® dye. What differentiates the BHQplus probe from other traditional probes is that it permits the design of shorter oligonucleotides that can detect more difficult targets such as AT-rich regions. With such heightened specificity, it is ideal to use BHQplus probes to detect single nucleotide polymorphisms.
